Extracurricular Escapes
Extracurricular Escapes
By Alice Shelley
We all know that one person who has everything together in their life. They are probably a super-organised goal achiever and let’s admit that you are a little bit jealous of them. However, even the most confident student can plaster a smile on their face and be troubled beneath the surface.
Exam stress is a major factor for mental health problems for young people these days. You may feel like you are losing grip on revision, like you are falling behind everyone else and if you come up for air, you will only be further behind.
There are remedies to cure this suffocating feeling, and you are going to want to note them down. Extracurricular activities can prove to be a terrific way to steady yourself when you feel your emotional balance slipping away.
Hele’s School offers an impressive range of clubs. There are informative posters around the site, or you could talk to a member of staff to find out more about what you can join. An alternative is visiting the school website where you will find an up-to-date guide on activities you may like.
An example of achievement through extracurricular escapes is the year 8 boys football team who have striven to excellence many a time, making Team Hele’s enormously proud.
It could be you making Team Hele’s proud with your newfound activity. De-stress and channel your talents into something new.
Good luck finding an extracurricular escape!
