Dear readers,

Spring has sprung once again and the sun is shining, just like this term’s edition! It is wonderful to be writing for you after what feels like such a long time. The reason that you have not heard from Hear From Hele’s for a few months is that we have been busier than ever! You may have noticed that as writers we have been a small group of Year 9s from the beginning, in need of some fresh talent. It didn’t take long to find them. In this edition, look out for the new names as their styles may be just what you are interested in!

So, what treats have we got in store for you this edition?

  • Darya writes about how we have always contrasted creativity with science, however, never compared them. Discover for yourself the modern research that may change generations of minds.
  • Ever the icon, Isla enchants us on the Summery makeup looks that can switch your summertime look from ordinary to dazzling in the swish of a brush! Take a look for some inspiration!
  • Delighting us with the rather practical in life, Emma talks houseplants. Lots of us understand the trying task of caring for a houseplant, as beautiful as they are. Not to fear, Emma is here with tips to support us with our leafy friends.
  • As suggested previously, try something new and read the debut joint-masterpiece of Evie, Paige and Anya who will keep us up to date on the current music scene!
  • Once again, the termly fixture of sport is back with so much to mention. Josh gives those sporting fans their dose of adrenaline, perfect for those who may have missed out on their favourite event.
  • We’ve been amazed by Lorcan’s technological writing before and now we are privileged with more information of the modern world. I can assure you you'll be delighted with the information that you will discover going out of this world!
  • Lewis takes us on his own adventures, guiding us through his very own Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice walk! We often take for granted the normality of such an activity, but we can never really know how amazing individual experiences are!
  • Finally, I will be debating an ongoing historical mystery that will bring out your natural detective/philosopher! Be sure to check it out and enjoy a healthy stretching of your brain!

I think that you can agree that we have an incredible line-up for this term.

As always, put your feet up, maybe grab an ice-cream and have a relaxing read of Hear From Hele’s!
