Dear readers,  

Congratulations on completing the first two term of the academic year! The first couple of terms are always the most daunting and you have made it through!   

A festive welcome to the 8th Edition of Hear From Hele’s. I am immensely proud of the team who produced this edition. As year 10s, we are starting to feel the pressures of exams looming in the not-so-distant future. The writers of this edition are already shaping their futures, and I know they are going to be bright. I thank them very much for being so proactive this term.   

Some exciting news is that we have lots of new writers! We have spent this year searching for fresh talent and we have found it in masses! Please look out for some of our new writers as the debut their seasonal specials.  

Coming up:  

We have our first guest writer! The much-loved Mr Opie writes about his experience visiting the student-produced space evening. It was out of this world!  

I write about the incredible range of extracurricular activities that can provide a marvellous mental health break for anyone dealing with stress.  

The fantastic year 7 writers are giving us our festive treat this year, from Santa to Christmas trees, it will begin to look a lot like Christmas after you have read through these masterpieces.  

Darya has been working in the field and went along to the Sixth form STEM workshops. If you have any interest in the fascinating world of STEM, then please take a look!
